Turn-MILL
Maximise the efficiency of your Turn-MILL equipment
PartMaker applies a Patented "divide and conquer" programming strategy to simplify the programming of Multi-Axis Turn-MILL Centers with live-tooling. The software helps the operator break a complicated part surface into a set of planes or faces. Machining tasks, such as turning, plane milling and cylinder milling are carried out separately for each face in an intuitive manner.
Visual programming assures quicker learning and easier use. PartMaker supports most Turn-MILL centers currently available including models from manufacturers such as Hardinge, Mazak, Mori-Seiki, Eurotech, Hitachi Seiki, Nakamura, Miyano, Okuma and others.
NC Programs Development for Machining
PartMaker machining programming includes the following capabilities:
- 2-axis milling with 3-axis tool positioning;
- pocket with any number of protrusions machining taking into consideration up-cut and down-cut milling;
- contour milling;
- 4-axis continuous and index part rotation milling;
- milling in the system of linear, cylindrical or polar coordinates;
- engraving on planes and surfaces of rotation;
- rough and finishing turning on outer and inner diameter;
- contour turning by groove tool with compensation of cutting tool width while calculating tool mechanical trajectory;
- drilling according to user cycles, including centering, boring, reaming, holes milling, facets creation and tapping operations;
- turning grooves of any form;
- threading of any profile;
- bar feeder operation programming;
- programming of part transfer from spindle to sub-spindle;
- cutting operations with part transfer from spindle to sub-spindle synchronization;
- part pulling with sub-spindle by a gripping device or a subspindle programming;
- part transfer from spindle or subspindle into a gripping device, located in the turret head programming;
- part rechuck operations for long parts machining by its pulling with subspindle (for Swiss type machines) programming, etc

Testimonials
" When we tried to use our original software to program our new multi-axis machines, we just were unable to get the post processed programs written properly for the machines. We weren't able to get a complete program from our existing CAM package. It wasn't sophisticated enough to handle our new-age Turn-MILL Centers. PartMaker has gotten us over that problem, and just as the new machines are enabling us to produce more and more complex parts in less time, our new software is enabling us to program those parts in less time."
